About Us
The Boy Scouts of America will honor Mike Kane with its Distinguished Citizen Award.
Kane is president and executive director of the Community Foundation for the Alleghenies.
Kane has worked with thousands of donors in Bedford, Cambria, Somerset and Indiana counties.
He says the Boy Scouts have been such an important part of our community, and to be able to be there and make the connection between the way the scouts work to grow community leaders is a natural fit.
